Candied Almonds

  • 2 T honey
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 c raw almonds
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 t cinnamon
  1. Toast almonds in dry skillet on medium-low until aromatic and starting to brown in spots. Remove from pan.
  2. Melt honey and butter in skillet. Simmer 2 minutes.
  3. Add toasted almonds and simmer 2 minutes, stirring from time to time. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Remove to greased pan or plate, let cool slightly. Toss with sugar mixture and let cool.
Makes 1 c.
